The Fall season is upon us, though it does seem to be taking it's time about creating change. The shutting down and preparing for winter that the earth and all who tread upon it experience, is Autumn. A time of quiet reflection, a respite from the busy summer, and a hush before the storms of winter, and all that that season will surely bring us.

The horses are happy and they canter and roll like they haven't all summer. The cooler weather revives them, and me. But the flies are still busy annoying us, though I think they know their days are numbered as the first frost can't be far off now.

With the Fall season comes also another opportunity to attend the Horse-Sense workshop at Lucky Day Ranch. This workshop will once again be offered in five, two hour sessions which begin October 20th. The response from previous participants who attended has been very positive! Summer was a fun time at Lucky Day Ranch, for the horses and the people who love them! I had the pleasure of spending much time with some of the most joyful and inspired people I know, my youngest students. And I, along with my teaching partners Beau, Buster Brown, Empress and Taylors Rose feel both honored and privileged to assist each one of them on their journey with horses and horsemanship. Below are some pictures to remind us of those fun, and hot, Summer days!
